This video is about how to make Osumashi / Clear soup (おすまし)with Egg, Shiitake mushrooms and Leek. (Osumashi is also called Sumashijiru). In Japan, Osumashi is considered as a soup for special occasions whereas miso soup is for everyday eating. I like to make Osumashi regularly - especially in summer - it's a lighter soup so it's great for a warm day when you don't want to eat too much or one of those days when your appetite is a little down. Try your Osumashi out with just a bowl of white or mixed rice for a light, tasty and nutricious meal. Once you've made your Osumashi a few times, you might want to experiment with other vegetables - my tip is that because Osumashi shouldn't spend too long in the saucepan, remember to prep your vegetables so that they don't have to spend too much time in the pan to be cooked. 🍴2 servings. 👩🏻🍳 For this recipe -- https://www.kurumicooks.co.uk/recipes... 🖥 How to make Premium dashi stock --- • Видео How to make Kelp & shiitake stock for Japanese dashi (stock) --- • How to make Japanese vegan Kelp / konbu & ... 卵、長ネギ、椎茸入りのおすましです。 📘材料 (2-3 人分) だし汁 500cc 塩 小1/2 長ネギ 3cm 椎茸. 2枚 しょうゆ 小1/2 卵 大1個 Please subscribe my channel☺️! Hi, I'm Kurumi and this is my Youtube cooking space where you can find out about how to cook delicious Japanese, Asian and Fusion foods in your home. I'm Japanese but I have lived in London for the last 30 thirty years. Back in the days before the internet (and Youtube), I was a food writer. My first book published in English was called Japanese Cooking for Two which I wrote in 1994. It has become the 9th best selling Japanese cookbook ever… yippee! My other books were ‘The Noodle Cookbook”, “The Soy for Health Cookbook” and “Healthy Noodles.” I also published a book in Japanese “English Home Cooking”. Then I had children and my life changed! By the time my children had grown up, the world had changed quite a lot too! Internet, Youtube etc etc. So, these days, instead of books, I publish recipe and articles on my website and on this channel. I hope you enjoy watching my tutorials - they are all tried and tested (some more times than I care to mention!) until I think you will get them right first time when you make them and enjoy eating them. I hope you'll find it easy to follow my recipe tutorials. There's alway a link to the written recipe on my website, if you want that as well.
