45 Story building planned in Dublin Docklands. Is Dublin Ready for high rise, Does Dublin even want high rise. What can we learn from cities like New York City. Some background, the proposal in question is a large mixed-use scheme on 1.1 hectares on North Wall Quay Dublin 1, the proposal included 3 blocks ranging from 8 to 45 stories, Johnny Ronan company submitted a planning application via the Government’s Strategic Housing Development (SHD) “fast-track” planning process, was submitted for a total of 1,005 apartments.
