Yo! How's it going everyone. Today's video is a little different from my usual videos. I am really trying my best to get the best out of my MPC One, so I've been thinking of different ways of improving its workflow. I've been recently pondering on how I can get my beats from the Akai MPC One to my smart phone & discovered this solution. The reason I wanted to try this out is because sometimes I want to upload directly to Soundcloud or Distrokid without having the need of turning on my computer, bouncing to Ableton, mixing, and mastering etc. Using this method reduces the time by half and allows me to put out more music out to the world(which is the goal!). The MPC software is powerful enough to get good sounding mixes and good sounding masters. Another thing you can achieve using this little flash drive is you are able to send demo's to an artist a lot quicker than if you were to bounce it to your computer. On another note, I mention the Akai MPC Live in my video because I was under the impression that the MPC Live/Live 2 can send a beat via Bluetooth or WIFI. Apparently this is not the case , you can't even connect to a Bluetooth speaker (WHAT?). Anyway I figured that this would be a cool idea to share. I hope you enjoy the video!
