Prague, who doesnt love the city? However most people only visit a small part of Prague and mainly stay around the city center. But most people cant afford to live in the city center but live just outside of it. Today im showing you your typical apartment blocks that you can find all over Prague. These are the Soviet Apartment buildings. They have been around since the late 60's when communism was still controlling the Czech Republic as part of the Soviet Union (USSR, CCCP). These houses are much cheaper than the ones in the city center but luckily now a days they look much nicer on the outside and are in a much better condition than in other former soviet countries. However, when you use your imagination you can still see the Soviet era coming back.
