Join us on the most fun and freeing way to discover the real Corfu! We ubered to the other side of Corfu and grabbed electric fat tire bikes with a pre-programmed 10'' tablet tour (no guide, total freedom!). The route took us from the coast all the way up the winding mountain roads to the breathtaking abandoned ghost village of Old Perithia – one of the oldest villages in Corfu, hidden under Mount Pantokrator. Those e-bikes were absolute game-changers: steep Greek hills felt like a breeze, so we could focus on the insane views of olive groves, cypress trees, turquoise coves peeking through the mountains, and that fresh island air. The tablet guided us turn-by-turn with GPS, audio stories, history facts, and hidden stops along the way – it honestly felt like having a local friend whispering secrets in our ear. We absolutely loved this tour – over 30 km of coastline magic, including a stunning ride along the beach and peeks at ancient sites! Old Perithia itself? Pure magic. Empty stone houses covered in ivy, Byzantine churches, tiny tavernas still open for business, and zero crowds. We felt like we discovered a lost world. The ride back down was pure joy – flying downhill with the wind in our faces and the Ionian Sea sparkling below.
