The surgery itself can be performed under local or general anaesthetic, so the only pain you will experience is the actual injection. Afterwards you will have some mild discomfort and we suggest you take it easy initially before slowly building yourself back up to your everyday activities. The pain is quite minimal as it is not a hugely invasive procedure.
