Belvoir Castle is once again home to the Midlands Trifecta Weekend. Participants had a choice of three races - Beast (21km), Super (10km) and Sprint (5km) as well as the Extreme Hurricane Heat (think of an extra long team bootcamp) For me, the super is the ideal distance, long enough to get good value but not too long as to have a too much running. There are some awesome obstacles that are exclusive to this Beast course though, including Ape Hanger and Stairway to Sparta. Spartan found a few hills and it was fun to do the Chain carry in the UK (pretty sure I havent done it here in the UK...). Weather just about held out, but shame about the A-Frame ( you'll see it!)
