In scenarios where tracking deadlines, schedules, or progress is important, you’ll likely have a date column. Highlighting the active day, the current working week, and the upcoming weekend is a great visual aid for emphasising the rows you need to focus on. The video example shows a list of ascending dates for March 2025 stored in B3:B33, while today’s date is in D2. Using three conditional formatting rules, it’s possible to highlight the aforementioned parts. Carry out the following: 1. Select the dates in B3:B33. 2. On the Home tab, go to the Conditional Formatting dropdown and select ’New Rule’. 3. Choose ‘Use a formula to determine which cells to format’. 4.
