How to SET WASTEGATE on HX#% TURBO (Turbosmart IWG75). This video shows how to set wastegate preload and use air compressor to set boost PSI on wastegate actuator. Turbosmart IWG75 wastegate get's 2mm of preload and is preset to 26 PSI of boost. Adjusting the wastegate on the hx35 turbo can be done with a adjustable boost elbow. That will allow you to adjust boost for the turbo. You can also change preload, but the adjustable boost elbow is a safer bet. To set the actuator arm to hx35 exhaust housing I used 40 PSI of air. The turbosmart wastegate install was straight forward and wastegate adjustment can be made after it's on the 24 valve cummins truck. SUBSCRIBE for more truck content.
