On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Sue Hughson of Dying With Dignity Canada’s Vancouver Chapter presented an informative town hall featuring three expert panelists discussing the implementation of medical assistance in dying (MAiD) in Canada, and our current legislation. The speakers were: Jay Aubrey Litigator with the BC Civil Liberties Association Dr. Ellen Wiebe Clinical professor in the Department of Family Practice at UBC Shanaaz Gokool CEO of Dying with Dignity Canada The event was held at the beautiful Celebration Hall at Vancouver’s Mountain View Cemetery.
