Written by Cal Phillips | TCU360.com TCU traveled to face No. 12 Baylor and took down the top team in the Big-12, behind a strong performance from Olivia Miles and Marta Suarez. This was the 29th time the two teams faced off, with TCU winning the last three, including the 2025 Big-12 Championship game. The Frogs opened the scoring in the first with an Olivia Miles layup. The Frogs had a strong first quarter, leading 21-12. Marta Suarez led the scoring after the first with eight points and two assists. TCU also opened up the scoring in the second with a Marta Suarez jumper after over two minutes of play. The Frogs kept up their strong play into the half, leading 36-32. Baylor hit a deep three to cut the lead to four with under a minute left. Suarez and Miles accounted for more than half of the Frogs points in the first half, with Suarez having 15 points and Miles having 10 points. The Frogs came out of the break strong, starting just where they left off with an Olivia Miles three. TCU ended the third with a 13 point lead after a strong third quarter, up 61-48. Miles could not miss in the third quarter, where she made seven threes and had 23 points. The Frogs did not let off the brakes for the rest of the game, beating Baylor 83-67 for TCU’s fourth straight win against the Bears. Olivia Miles had 40 points, making 10 threes, becoming the second-ever player this century to do so on the road against a ranked opponent. Miles also became the third Frog to score over 40 points in a game and the first against a ranked opponent. Marta Suarez had an impressive game as well, scoring 27 points. Suarez and Miles were the only two Frogs in double-digits and scored the same amount as Baylor by themselves. They scored over 80% of TCU’s points.
