Lithuanian reeds player Liudas Mockunas, and Danish percussionist, Christian Windfeld, has since their first meeting in Estonia in 2013 had a sparkling musical connection. In their completely improvised performances they travel far and wide from the raging, energetic and trance like moments to the minimalistic, reduced and almost romantic ones. Their music draws on influences from the european improvised music, free jazz, contemporary classical music and folklore. Both players have extensive solo careers and their individual, minutious research into their instruments lifts this duo to the next level. The duo has performed at venues and festivals in Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany and Czech Republic.
