The Hidden: Source is a Half-Life 2 multiplayer mod where a team of special forces agents (IRIS) equipped to the teeth with weapons and gadgets are tasked with hunting down the elusive and dangerous Subject 627 aka The Hidden - a result of human experiments that made him be mostly invisible. Equipped with special powers, a knife and a homemade pipe bomb, his objective is to elimiate the team of IRIS soldiers in a game of hide and seek. The modification came out originally in 2007 and gained a fair bit of fanbase back in the day, thanks in no small part to SeaNanners. Now, 18 years later I revisited this mostly dead source game to take a trip down the memory lane back to its days of glory. The Hidden still remains one of the best, horrific and exciting multiplayer games to grace the face of the earth!
