Death Egg Robot (Final Boss) (Sonic 2) - GaMetal Remix

The Death Egg Robot from Sonic 2 returns to GaMetal, this time for a full rendition! Every year around Valentines Day, I give my wife a song choice. Last year she went with Michelle's Theme from Tekken 2, and the year before that was Oil Ocean Zone. This year she went back to Sonic 2 and brought out the big guns by choosing the Death Egg Robot theme. She told me this theme used to scare her as a child, but don't tell her I told you that. This song did appear in the recent Sonic Fan Medley 2: Genesis Edition, so it was a lot of fun doing a full version. This version is greatly influenced by the Generations remix(s), which has 3 different phases that get a bit more intense each time. Especially the third phase. So what's next for Sonic GaMetal? Yeah yeah, I know, Egg Dragoon. It's on my to-do list, don't worry. Till then, enjoy!
