AGUILUCHO LAGUNERO OCCIDENTAL//OCCIDENTAL MARSH HARRIER

Hacía tiempo que quería hacer un vídeo con los aguiluchos laguneros que visitan el muladar de Peñaflor de Gállego. Su presencia es habitual todos los inviernos. Generalmente suelen ser pollos del año los que más tiempo pasan en el entorno, pero en algunas ocasiones también vienen a comer los adultos. Este vídeo está centrado en estos últimos. La mañana del 25 de enero de 2017,se acercó al muladar la hembra de lagunero que aparece en la primera parte del vídeo. Desconfiada y esquiva al principio, protegida por la maleza, antes de decidirse a comer, entonces sobrevoló por la zona un ejemplar adulto de águila real (no es el que aparece en el vídeo, ni desde luego fue tan cantarín como el que podéis ver en las imágenes, al que he añadido la voz de reclamo de un macho de la misma especie, para aportar dramatismo y teatralidad a la escena, ya que el pollo del año que pude grabar el 14 de enero de 2017, tampoco abrió el pico para emitir sonido alguno), pero lo que sí es cierto es que la hembra de aguilucho lagunero, se agachó y trató de pasar desapercibida entre la vegetación , mientras el águila real sobrevolaba la zona. Como estaba grabando al lagunero, no pude grabar al águila real adulta, pero con este montaje que he realizado en la primera parte del vídeo, he intentado recrear la escena. El observador experimentado, no habrá tardado mucho en darse cuenta de que no es el mismo ejemplar, ni el macho ni la hembra el que aparece durante los tres minutos y medio de duración del vídeo. La ¿hembra? acosada por las urracas tiene el iris del ojo mucho más oscuro (además de que tampoco el patrón de color de sus plumas es coincidente), que la protagonista de los primeros planos. Respecto al macho, mucho más difícil de ver posado en el entorno del muladar, he combinado imágenes del 22 de enero de 2018 (las escenas que se desarrollan en el interior de la balsa) con imágenes del 25 de enero de 2017, cuando un hambriento y majestuoso macho me regaló su compañía durante más de una hora, en la que pude grabar los planos que quería a escasos metros del hide. Podríamos decir, que todo esto forma parte de la “magia del cine”, (con perdón de los verdaderos cineastas y documentalistas, al atribuirme esta competencia que desde luego no me corresponde), donde nada es verdad ni es mentira, sino que todo está en función de la edición y el montaje del que al otro lado (de la cámara) mira. As I was recording the marsh harrier, I could not record the adult golden eagle, but with this montage that I have made in the first part of the video, I tried to recreate the scene. The experienced observer will not have taken long to realize that it is not the same specimen, neither the male nor the female that appears during the three and a half minutes of the video. The female? harassed by the magpies, the iris of the eye is much darker (in addition to the fact that the color pattern of its feathers is not coincident either), that the protagonist of the close-ups. Regarding the male, much harder to see posed in the environment of the feed point, I combined images of January 22, 2018 (the scenes that take place inside the pound) with images of January 25, 2017, when a hungry and majestic male gave me his company for more than an hour, in which I could record the shots that I wanted a few meters from the hide. We could say, that all this is part of the "magic of the cinema", (with the forgiveness of the true academics and documentary filmmakers, by attributing to me this competence that of course does not correspond to me), where nothing is true or lies, but everything is depending on the editing and mounting of the one on the other side (of the camera).
