In Seattle, he secured the win in the Great Clips Skills Challenge by balancing Son-uva Digger on two wheels for an extended duration, narrowly beating Kayla Blood in Soldier Fortune (9.292). Freestyle Aggression: During his freestyle run, Ryan was "red hot," hitting the backflip ramp early in his run to maximize air time. He focused on a high-energy "save everything" style, though he was ultimately bested for the Freestyle trophy by Jim Koehler, who delivered a legendary "scorched earth" run in Avenger.
