(17 May 2018) Members of Congress got a sneak peak at a film about Arizona Sen. John McCain. The documentary, "John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls" will premier on HBO Memorial Day. The 81-year-old McCain was diagnosed in July with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. McCain's 106-year-old mother, Roberta, and his brother Joe were on hand for the Capitol Hill screening. Filmmaker Peter Kunhardt praised McCain's "willingness to say he's screwed up on something. He, he's a unique individual in that he makes a lot of mistakes, but he quickly recognizes the mistakes, apologizes for them and tries to act accordingly and I think it's refreshing in this day and age." Peter's son, Teddy Kunhardt recently showed the film to McCain. "I brought the film down a few weeks ago and showed it to him in a pretty final stage form and he loved it. He said, 'you nailed it,'" Kunhardt added.
