To recap my day and give some tips if you plan to island hop as well: I explored three islands: Hovedøya, Gressholmen, Langøyene They are not regularly inhabited, but a lot of these islands have summer cottages that Norwegians own as vacation homes basically The beaches are so nice! Very raw, beautiful, clean, and for the most part, calm If you're traveling around Oslo with a public transit pass (which you can purchase through the Ruter app), that covers the ferry rides to these islands! So it's such a good deal You can find ferry times/routes using the Ruter app or by visiting this website: https://www.visitoslo.com/en/product/...
