Recent polls indicate that nearly one-third of Generation Z hold a favorable view of Marx. Today, roughly 1.5 billion people continue to live under Marxist-Leninist regimes, while many others around the world suffer under related socialist systems. The philosophy of Karl Marx still exerts a powerful influence even within free societies, including the United States. What will it take to finally and decisively repudiate Communism’s bloody legacy? How can education and the media more effectively confront the truth about its historical and ongoing crimes, while championing the principles of economic and political liberty? This program features Elizabeth Spalding, Chairman of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and Founding Director of the Victims of Communism Museum.
