A&Z #1048 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Chicago's Biggest Breakfast Challenge at The Original Pancake House location in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, Illinois!! There are over 150 Original Pancake House locations around the United States and rest of the world, and five of them around the greater Chicagoland area are owned by the Sczurek family. They invited ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I down to their Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois location to attempt their brand new breakfast eating challenge which featured 4 of the biggest specialty breakfast items on the menu!! The challenge includes a 10-egg-white "San Diego" breakfast omelette, their classic "Dutch Baby" which is a German pancake filled with fresh strawberry and banana slices, an oven-baked Apple Pancake, and a Cherry Kijafa Crepe. I had 1 hour to finish all that, plus a big glass of freshly squeezed orange juice that The Original Pancake House brand is well known for. I was trying to become the first person to earn my entire breakfast meal free, a sweet t-shirt to add to my collection, and a spot on their Lincoln Park location's Wall of Fame!! BIG thanks Alexandra and her mom and dad, as well as everyone else with The Original Pancake House for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! They hosted this Chicago's Biggest Breakfast Challenge at their Lincoln Park, Chicago location. There is a cheesy 10-egg-white "San Diego" oven-baked omelette topped with salsa and avocado. There is a "Dutch Baby" German Pancake filled with fresh strawberry and banana slices + syrup. Their specialty oven-baked Apple Pancake w/ fresh sliced apples and a cinnamon sugar glaze. There is a Cherry Kijafa Crepe with sweet cherry sauce crafted from tart cherries and Kijafa wine. 1 hour time limit to finish the entire breakfast meal plus a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
