To defeat Cortex, avoid Aku Aku and Uka Uka who are battling each other while avoiding Cortex's shots from his ray gun and his mines that he throws after a while. Once he's finished throwing his mines his force field will fizzle out. Spin attack him in the hole in the middle to take a health out of his bar. Do this 3 times to defeat DR. Neo Cortex.
