Battlefield V Closed Alpha - Narvik Overview

Year is 2018 and DICE was preparing to showcase what it had in the store. Closed Alpha was invite-only and lucky players got to test out the game in June and August 2018. Closed Alpha ran in two stages and gameplay you are watching is August 2018 build. Although the June 2018 build is almost the same, August 2018 build had updates from the feedback received from the first alpha stage where it pushed it's own alpha barriers to get the players excited for what was coming. Reviews were mixed however as plenty of youtubers and players couldn't make up their minds about this game as the gameplay was very different than BF1 and BF4 (sorry Hardline). When compared, you can actually see the difference between the retail BFV and Alpha where the graphics were amazing and RTX was a brand new thing. RTX made it's debut with BFV and even without it, the game looked amazing. Sound design was nothing but awesome in the early stages. Against the mixed reviews, BFV alpha had it's own place within BFV history and it will always be remembered with it's amazing graphics, sound design, quirky bugs and netcode issues.
