Berserkers - legendary Viking warriors renowned for their ferocity in battle, fighting in a trance of blind fury (berserkergang) and total fear inhibition. According to the Old Norse sagas, berserkers were mostly unarmoured, highly agile, physically endurant, and able to defeat their opponents with a single blow of their weapon.
