Our guest this week is professor Jok Madut Jok to talks about current issues in South Sudan. Dr. Jok Madut Jok is a specialist in gender and health, political violence and a peace activist and scholar. He has written widely on identity, role of religion in violence, gender-based violence and the history and society in Sudan and South Sudan. He is co-founder of the Sudd Institute, a policy research center based in Juba, South Sudan, for which he conducts research, writes and speaks on matters of security, justice, reconciliation, state formation and nation-building.
