The highlight of this visit was Nali Beef Pulao, one of the most iconic dishes from Bannu city in Pakistan. This dish is known for its massive beef bone marrow, slow-cooked inside rice for nearly four hours, allowing all the marrow richness to melt into the pulao. The result is deeply flavorful rice, tender beef, and a dish that represents generations of Pakistani cooking. Bannu Beef Pulao originated in the Bannu region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and today it’s loved across Pakistan. Finding it prepared authentically in Dubai is rare and this place does it right.
