Am I happy that I bought this Vevor Air Still? A full review & what its spirit tastes like!

I bought myself an air still! Well, not technically the air still (Still Spirits), but a very similar version. This is the Vevor "water distiller machine" with temperature and time controls. It's as easy to use as a coffee pot! It can distill 1 gal (~3.8 L) of liquid at a time. All you need to do is load it up with whatever you're distilling, plug it in, turn it on, set the temperature, and collect distillate! The pot boils the liquid and a fan on top cools the vapors back down to room temp. There is a slightly cheaper version by Vevor that doesn't have temp or time controls. I would recommend getting that one along with a power controller to dial down the power in the pot if you want more precise control over the distillate flow rate. But I got the one with temp/time controls because I wasn't concerned about having precise control over the distillate flow rate... don't worry, I go over all of this in my video. The pros of an air still are the cost (which I didn't mention in the video), the ease of set-up, the ease of operation, and the size. This air still cost me $81 including taxes and everything. The cons are that this still power cycles and it's tiny. The power cycling is going to impact your distillation, which is why I suggest getting the on/off version with a power controller if you're concerned about the power cycling. (Do I need to get a second air still and hook it up to my power controller for a direct comparison? Maybe.) The small size is also a con because it is really hard to make distillation cuts with such a small volume. If you have an air still, let me know what your experience has been using it!
