Oh my phone alarm is throbbing like a migraine, I'm listening to the rain lashing on my window, just lying here, stubborn as a blood stain so low that I can't even move but I got nothing I need to prove Oh I'm well aware the day outside is wasting, didn't you say that good news always sleeps late? I'm just about the worst news anyone could get I'm just surprised you didn't realise that yet didn't realise that yet and I feel like I'm tied tethered to my own mind looking in from the outside I feel like I'm chained to all of these doubts that I got crowding in my brain and you said that I was fading out, hiding in the past and winter never stays too long and all the clouds will pass so I'm living in the here, living in the now and I'm wondering what's the use of all this living anyhow, anyhow...
