The best and most convenient way to visit is to stay one or two nights in Evesham. You can choose from various accommodation options, such as Premier Inn Cotswolds area or any other self-catering accommodation and B&B service. From Evesham, you can easily reach all locations within 15 to 20 minutes by bus or taxi. 📍Elmley Castle One of the most beautiful villages in England, known for its Outstanding Natural Beauty, this village is a true gem. It is adorned with a large number of half-timbered cottages that add to its picturesque charm. Located just a 2.5-hour drive from London, it also has easy access to public transportation from nearby Evesham city. Spending two hours to half a day exploring the village, is perfect which is filled with fairytale cottages. The village's telephone box has been creatively converted into a book exchange or a lifesaving defibrillator. On weekends, classic cars are a common sight on the roads, enhancing the nostalgic ambience of most Cotswolds villages. While a day trip is ideal, you might need two days to explore nearby attractions fully. I suggest staying one night in Evesham city, as most villages are just a 15-minute drive away. All villages are unspoiled, and beautiful, and offer tranquil areas perfect for relaxation. Many of these beautiful cottages are available for rent. Elm Cottage, for instance, is so charming that it looks like it's straight out of a postcard. It features a small stream at the front and a mini bridge at the entrance. Each cottage has its own animal figure finials on the roof, adding to their unique character. The old post office and locals enjoying cricket matches on the weekends are common sights. There are plenty of places to see and visit around Elmley Castle, especially if you love hiking or cycling. 📍Steam train Cotswolds at Toddington Station The GWR steam train is a volunteer-operated heritage railway in the Cotswolds, running steam and heritage diesel trains between Cheltenham Racecourse and Broadway. It offers some of the most spectacular scenery and top attractions in the Cotswolds. You can enjoy unlimited travel throughout the day with an adult fare of £20, and the service is dog-friendly. 📍Chipping Campden Rose Cottage is a holiday cottage with delightful gardens where you can stay in Chipping Campden. It is one of the best-preserved examples of architecture and historically important towns, with old golden-coloured buildings and thatched roofs that are picture-perfect. 📍Broadway High Street A large village in the Worcestershire Cotswolds with a population of around 2,500, is well-known as the beauty spot of the Cotswolds. It boasts what I believe to be the most beautiful high street in England. There are plenty of B&Bs and holiday cottages to choose from on Broadway. The mixture of Cotswold stone cottages and stunning architecture has lured visitors for centuries. Premier Inn near Broadway Cotswolds is in Evesham city or You can choose quite a lot of Holiday Cottages near Broadway. I recommend visiting early, as most shops close by 5 pm. Broadway Village is fortunate to have a great selection of independent shops and art galleries, adding to its charm and appeal. 📍Cropthorne Village The village has many unique timber-framed thatched cottages from the 16th century.
