Surprising next to no-one, trying to get that warning to someone who could do something with it ended in absolute failure, but not because we couldn’t get the information across. On the contrary, the person already knew what we did and had made plans to go public with what he knew. Unfortunately, laser-guided Murphy’s Law struck, with the Tyrants killing the person and almost killing Ben. The only thing that saved him was that the one who was meant to pull the trigger was Sam Duarte, the person Ben had tried so hard to save and thought was dead. Turns out he’s not as dead as we first thought but is now working for the very organisation Ben is on the run from. One has to wonder if Sam was ever dead at all, but that’s besides the point. The Tyrants know where Ben is and by extension, Anna too. They both need to scarper from Panama City, though it’ll be harder for Ben to do so as he’s right in the middle of the city. Fortunately he has a recently made friend in Alex, someone who happens to pilot just the kind of vehicle that could get him out of the city safely. Unfortunately it’s more complicated then just asking her for a lift, as she’s got troubles of her own which need sorting. It’s a good thing that we’re generally good at sorting out problems and that helping her so she can help us is our number one priority – not to mention she’s likely in as much trouble as we are now – so it’s off to follow the main plot some more regardless of where it takes us. You’d be surprised where the main plots of games can take you sometimes. This game is positively tame in that regard, trust me.
