This is an example of how not to handle a case (at least according to the facts we see in the opinion). The court says the tax payer blew through deadlines and missed hearings, etc. The court case is Solny v. Commisioner Of Internal Revenue and has to do with offers in compromise and installment agreements. You can find the case on Google Scholar at: https://scholar.google.com/scholar_ca...
