[HD] Insanely action packed Railfanning in Roanoke, VA!! 07/25/24

Yesterday I spent a full day railfanning in Roanoke, VA. I was absolutely blown away by the amount of train tracks, districts, subdivisions and just total train action that Roanoke had to offer. Where I set up at the Amtrak station, there were not 1, not 2, not, 3 but 4 busy districts all funneling into 1 stretch of track where I was railfanning. The Blueridge district, the Altavista district, the Roanoke district, and the Winston-Salem district all come into the yard in Roanoke which makes for a lot of trains passing by the station every day. I caught 19 trains (17 freight and 2 Amtrak) in 8 hours of railfanning which is an all time personal record. I had such a blast catching trains and touring VMT it was like a dream come true. So lucky that I had the opportunity to go to Roanoke, VA yesterday and I hope to return soon! Hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed putting it together for yall!!
