Artiq is a London-based international art agency specialising in art rental, consultancy, bespoke commissions, and comprehensive art procurement and management services for clients around the globe. We create impact with projects of all kinds, from curated collections and commissioned artworks for workplaces, hospitality brands and universities, to site-specific events and installations for public spaces. All of this is achieved while ensuring fair pay for artists. In the past three years alone, we have paid over £7 million to artists and makers through partnerships with some of the world's most impactful brands and businesses. Theresa Weber's work explores body extensions, body traces and the personal archive. Her interest in prostheses and hybrid bodies is expressed in the use of materials such as artificial nails, synthetic hair and silicon. We had the privilege of procuring Theresa's work Ishtar on behalf of the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, now permanently installed in the LSE Marshall Building.
