This requires additional support underneath the 3/4" OSB. Keep in mind, the only thing being replaced in this bathroom was the shower. Once the shower drain was positioned we added new 3/4" OSB over the new framing. Then the Schluter shower pan was cut to size, i.e. 32" x 47". Both the Schluter shower pan and curb we set using ALL-SET mortar and waterproofed using four inside corners (Kerdi), Kerdi-Band at every wall/curb transition, and two outside corners (Kerdi).
