https://www.moonlightfeather.com/blog... Happy November! With Thanksgiving and the holidays quickly approaching, this elegant feather centerpiece is an easy, unique way to incorporate fall and winter colors into your home. Supplies needed: 3 packs- 5 pieces- Ivory Bleached Peacock Swords Cut Feathers 2 packs- 10 Pieces 8”-10” Golden Pheasant Red Tips Loose Feathers 1 pack- 6 pieces Brown Turkey Rounds Secondary Wing Quill Feathers Large Clear Vase Hot glue (optional) Glue Gun (optional) Satin ribbon or burlap ribbon One large bag of birdseed Step 1: Grab your clear vase and your ribbon. Decide how you would like to tie the ribbon; we did a simple bow tie but you could do a single knot or get creative! Depending on the type of vase you have, you may want to use hot glue and a glue gun to secure the ribbon onto the vase. A few dots of glue should do the trick! Step 2: Fill the vase up with the birdseed, leaving an inch or two of space at the top. Step 3: Starting with the ivory peacock feathers, arrange them in a staggered line towards the back of the vase, using the birdseed to hold them in place. Step 4: Next, take your brown turkey feathers and arrange them in front of the peacock feathers, again in a staggered line. You want this section to look full so place the feathers closer together. Step 5: Grab your red tip pheasant feathers and add them in front of the turkey feathers. Placing them closer together, you’ll want to push these a little bit further into the birdseed to allow the red feathers to be fully seen. Step 6: Take a look at your arrangement and fill in any gaps with your leftover feathers to make the centerpiece look full and complete!
