Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship Symposium - 04/05/2024

Cal Poly Humboldt’s Cannabis Studies Program invites campus and community members to attend a special symposium on Cannabis and Environmental Stewardship to explore existing and potential policy options for incentivizing regenerative cannabis agriculture and best practices for licensed cannabis production beyond the structure of existing rules and regulations. We bring together policymakers, nonprofits, cultivators, and academics to map out the landscape of bottom-up approaches to environmental stewardship and explore opportunities to support the successful implementation of Proposition 64 while also upholding the environmental provisions. This event takes place on Friday, April 5th in the Native Forum on campus from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm; and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm in BSS 166, a nearby lecture hall. This event was free and open to all.
