All of you must have come acts as adrenaline. Adrenalin is a fright and a flight hormone. Adrenaline is produced from supraadrenal glands. So that is why it is called a s adrenaline that means above the renal. So sometimes your body can have tumor or adrenaline producing tumor can be there. So this tumor also releases adrenaline but in this condition there is no fight or flight, so it is not in response to any stimulus. But you can have release of this hormone without any reason. Because there are tumours producing this. So classically these tumours are benign. About 70 to 80% are benign. About 20% can be cancerous and this is called as Pheochromocytoma.
