UNPRECEDENTED DISCOVERY: China's Tianwen-1 orbiter just captured the closest images ever of interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS — and what they reveal has scientists questioning everything we thought we knew about comets. After shedding 13% of its mass (approximately 4 BILLION tons) during its closest approach to the Sun, 3I/ATLAS should have a massive tail streaming millions of kilometers behind it. Instead: no tail. No debris field. Just a compact fuzzy sphere. Where did 4 billion tons of ejected material go? That's only ONE of TEN documented anomalies that challenge our understanding of cometary physics.
