Help a New Company Create a Beautifully Thrilling Chicago Premiere! Cor Theatre returns with the Chicago premiere of Erin Courtney's psychological thriller "A Map of Virtue." This 2012 Obie Award Winner debuts January 08- February 14, 2015 at Rivendell Theatre in Andersonville. A Map of Virtue was hailed “one of the most terrifying plays of the past decade” by the New York Times. It premiered at New York’s 13P in 2012, won an Obie Award and was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick. Part interview, part comedy, part middle-of-the-night horror story, A Map of Virtue is about a shared obsession that leaves a group of friends stranded in the woods. A bird statue is the guide through this symmetrical tale about the limits of our virtues and what we leave behind. To learn more about Cor Theatre and purchase tickets to "A Map of Virtue," visit www.cortheatre.org. Video created by Alex Thompson Producing theatre costs money. Nearly all theatre companies big or small derive over 60% of their income from donation and the generosity of others. This campaign's goal is to cover the costs of producing A Map of Virtue so that we have a stable foundation from which to build and grow both artistically and financially. A Map of Virtue is an important piece of theatre and in order to share it, we need support from our peers, community, and anyone who values new and courageous theatre.
