Asking the congregation to praise God with music and dancing. The basic concept of this psalm is that there are different ways one can praise God. The Book of Psalms is arranged in 5 books: Book 1 / Psalms 1-41 Book 2 / Psalms 42-72 Book 3 / Psalms 73-89 Book 4 / Psalms 90-106 Book 5 / Psalms 107-150 Halleluyah / Psalm 150, the very last Psalm, contains 6 verses praising God. It serves in its entirely to praise God for the 5th book and an appropriate conclusion of the entire Psalter. Halleluyah / Psalm 150 answers 4 questions about praise: 1. Where should God be praised? Everywhere, from his sanctuary of earth to his heavenly creation / verse 1 2. Why should God be praised? For His powerful deeds on behalf of men and his greatness / verse 2 3. How should God be praised? With any instrument man can offer with his God-given creativity / verses 3-5 4. Who should praise God?
