These Zombie brain halloween cup cakes are double chocolate cup cakes with a frosting to resemble brain and blood. A soft butter frosting covers the two layered moist chocolate cup cakes made from a regular chocolate cake batter. I'm sure you shall enjoy making these for your halloween party. SOME NOTES: 1)You could even make a chocolate frosting by adding about 25 gm cocoa powder to the butter instead of red colour. Though you get a slightly brown brain colour, it would taste better. 2)If you don't like honey, you could even use seedless raspberry jam or strawberry jam. Just add some red colour to it. 3)You can add 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tsp vanilla essence to the frosting for better taste and flovour. 4) Never put the filled piping bang for chill. The metal tip gets colder and hence blocks the frosting while piping. INGREDIENTS: FOR THE CHOCOLATE CUP CAKES: Wet ingredients: 1)water 3 tbsp 2)milk 3 tbsp 3)instant coffee powder 1 tsp 4)sugar 120 gm 5)egg 1 large 6)any flavourless oil 50 ml 7)salt 1/4 tsp 8)pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp Dry ingredients: 1)all purpose flour 80 gm 2)cocoa powder 25 gm (I have use Dutch processed) 3)baking powder 1/2 tsp 4)baking soda 1/4 tsp Frosting 1)butter 150 gm (at room temp) 2)icing sugar 75 gm 3)salt 1/8 tsp 4)pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp 5)just a little red colour and even lesser black colour Blood 1)honey 2 tbsp 2)red food colour: little extra
