On July 6th and 7th, the Twic East Youth Association, in partnership with the Twic East Community Association in the USA and the Women's Group, organized a significant gathering in Omaha, NE, USA. The event brought together many young people, most of whom were born in the United States or arrived as children. The youth leadership and the community arranged this event to provide a platform for cultural celebration and to conduct workshops addressing the unique challenges the youth face. The topics covered in the seminar were career choices, mental health, and financial literacy. Several communities, including the Bor and Duk communities, whose songs were featured in this event, were invited to the celebration. Over these two remarkable days, participants openly discussed their experiences and concerns while coming together to celebrate their rich cultural heritage. The video features two hours of traditional Twic East dances and songs, beautifully performed by various artists who have composed music celebrating the community and its traditions.
