This video was taken on Monday, January 17, 2022. We are looking southbound at the Belle Terrace Overpass, and we are located on the west side of Highway 99, just south of where the Centennial Corridor connects with the 99/58 interchange. It’s been almost 2 months since we have been out here for an update video, and there are a lot of improvements that have been made. I started doing these video updates almost 3 years ago, so if you haven’t already, please be sure to subscribe to this channel by clicking the subscribe and notification buttons and then go back through our Centennial Corridor Playlist. You might enjoy watching some of the earlier footage that was taken so you can see the progression over time. It truly is amazing to observe all the development that has taken place. For those of you who have been following along with this series, we hope you enjoy the video updates. Now we are facing upward toward the eastbound direction of hwy 58, still looking at the interchange with 99 northbound heading left on the screen and southbound toward the right. We see the connection path that brings the westbound 58 traffic over to the 99 southbound, this is a temporary route while the improvements are made to the old loop merge lane which will now go through the new tunnel that is being added. I’m already looking forward to coming back out for another update video, the progress between each video is crazy to see. Go ahead and put in your comments and feedback below. I’d love to read your thoughts on this project and it’s development. More BIG changes here at Real Road with another part of the overpass being constructed. Now here we are facing toward the north, looking at the Stockdale Highway overpass there at the Old Stine Road intersection. I just made a location change, and am now on the north side of Stockdale Highway, over Ford Avenue, looking back at the overpass. There is a lot of work going on today, we see here the crews are paving the section between Ford and La Mirada. Here we are coming up to the La Mirada Overpass, which reminds me, I want to give a personal shout out to our supporter, Brian Boll, who used to live there on La Mirada. Thank you Brian for your continued support and for following The Heightened Perspective. And now coming up to Marella, where construction of the next overpass has begun. These videos initially started as a hobby years ago, but I went ahead and got licensed with the FAA. My goal is to do this on a more permanent, full time basis and scale up the volume of videos that I publish. I hope you enjoy watching the videos as much as I enjoy putting them out.
