Turning Shopify Webhooks into Real-Time Storefront Notifications with WebSockets

This video is a full walkthrough of an example Shopify app that turns order webhooks into real-time storefront notifications using WebSockets. When an `orders/create` webhook is triggered in Shopify, the event is received reliably via the Hookdeck Event Gateway, delivered to a Remix app, transformed into a PII-free notification, and then broadcast to the storefront in real time using Ably. The goal of this demo is to show how webhook-driven backend events can power real-time user experiences, such as live purchase notifications that help make product activity visible and signal popularity.
