Quando corpus morietur The concert is arranged by Haga Parish, Gothenburg in collaboration with SENSUS and the Association for Göteborg International Organ Academy. BIOS Anna Maria Friman For the last twenty years Anna Maria Friman has been working as a freelance musician both in chamber music ensembles and as a soloist with orchestras (such as the Latvian Radio Choir, Gavin Bryars Ensemble, Hille Perl & Sirius Viols, Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin). With her regular groups Trio Mediæval and Alternative History Quartet she has performed throughout Europe, USA (31 states), Mexico, Canada, South Korea, Japan, China and Australia. Anna also frequently perform with Friman-Ambrosini-Vicens Trio and ensemble Serikon, and has recently participated in a few projects with Göteborg Baroque. Most of her ensemble engagements include different musical styles, crossing borders between early music, folk, improvisation and contemporary music. In 2010 Anna completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Music at the University of York, UK where she researched the modern performance of medieval music. Amanda Flodin Amanda Flodin is a mezzo soprano with focus on early and contemporary music and a mission to always create a powerful and colourful expression. In 2020 Amanda performed one of the two parts in the Sweden premiere of the chamber opera As One (Kaminsky/ Reed/ Campbell) about a transgender woman. She also sang several parts in the mystery play Ordo Virtutum by Hildegard von Bingen. Amanda was rewarded with a one-year grant from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and the cultural scholarship from the city of Göteborg in 2017, a two-year grant from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee in 2018 and the cultural scholarship from the region of Västra Götaland in 2019. “Amanda manage to find artistic expressions that makes us forget every day life and reflect around our time, the history and the future” (from the Göteborg city scholarship). In 2021 Amanda will portray Ann in the world premiere of Scener ur ett polyamoröst äktenskap commissioned by the opera company Man Must Sing. Lars Storm Lars Storm serves as organist in Haga Church (Göteborg) since 2020 where he has two of Westerns Sweden’s most profiled organs at his disposal and is responsible for the parish's activities around these instruments. He also works a project manager in the Association for Göteborg International Organ Academy. Lars studied 2016-2018 at the master’s programme ”Organ and Related Keyboard Instruments” at the Academy of Music and Drama, Gothenburg. Organ interpretation with Hans Davidsson, organ improvisation with Karin Nelson and harpsichord interpretation with Joel Speerstra. Choir Educationalist degree 2010. Master of Arts in Church Music 2007. Masterclasses with Harald Vogel (Germany), Ludger Lohmann (Germany), Joris Verdin (Belgium), Craig Cramer (USA) etc. Additional courses (chamber music, orchestral playing, organ interpretation etc.).
