Khadir is an Island Between lake of salt in Great Rann of Kutch ! It situated approx. 200 km from capital of Kutch, Bhuj in Bhachau Taluka of Kutch District, in the state of Gujarat in western India, It is 165 km from Radhanpur and 358 Km from Ahmedabad 1) Chippar Point is highest point of that island near amarapar village of Khadir. 2) Dholavira is an archaeological site at Khadirbet. The City of Dholavira located in Khadir island of the Rann of Kutch belonged to the matured Harappan phase. Today what is seen as a fortified quadrangular city set in a harsh arid land, was once a thriving metropolis for 1200 years (3000 BCE-1800 BCE) and had access to the sea prior to the decrease in sea level. 3) Fossil park is 8-10 km from the Dholavira. It has 16 crores years old plant fossils of Jurassic period. 4) Sunset Point is 3 km from the fossil part, it is western most part of this island and a perfect place to end a day in this island.
