Maggie ~ July 2019 Update

Ms. Maggie is rocking it. It's been 2 years since her injury, one year since her surgery to apply stem cells on her brain, and 2 injections since then. She has made 4 significant improvements, so far: Able to scratch behind her ear, without falling over Balance regained in seconds, without over extending. 1-3 three steps, on her own, before falling. Able to readjust directions with little fall over. All in all, we are extremely pleased with her progress! She can also eat and drink without tipping over. Her ability to focus has improved greatly. And, we have learned to adjust, as needed, based on her location. For example, a low level dish, helps to prevent the bobbing, and allows her to drink and eat without assistance. She is also able to shake a toy, with all her might, and not tip over. This girl is amazing! And her treatments have been more than miraculous, thanks to Safari Animal Clinic, and Doc Garner's amazing strides in the field of stem cell therapies!
