The opposition demanded that the proceedings begin exactly as announced, triggering a brief argument inside the House. Former minister and senior BJP leader Suresh Kumar strongly objected to the delay. According to him, the Assembly was supposed to begin at 9:30 AM, but even by 10:15 AM the session had not started, which led to frustration among opposition members. He urged the Speaker to ensure discipline and punctuality in conducting the legislative proceedings. Responding to the criticism, Assembly Speaker U. T. Khader clarified that the delay happened because all members needed to arrive before starting the session. He assured the House that efforts would be made to start the Assembly on time in the future. The brief exchange created a tense atmosphere inside the Assembly, highlighting the growing friction between the ruling government and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party.
