Recipe: You will need - 1 onion 250g ground beef Cinammon 1 pinch Paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chilli flakes (to ur taste) 1 cup parsley finely chopped 2 eggs Handful of olives (to your taste) Spring roll pastry Philadelphia cheese Avocado Oil, canola oil or sunflower oil for deep frying (healthier alternative you can air fry them) Method: 1. Gently saute the onion for around 5 minutes until soft. 2. Add the beef mince and brown. 3. Add a pinch of cinnamon, salt and pepper, paprika & chilli flakes and the chopped parsley and stir well. 4. On a gentle heat add the beaten egg taking care not to let it scramble. 5. Add some chopped olives to your filling 6. Let this mixture cool or the pastry will disintegrate. 7. Place 2 or 3 tablespoons of beef mixture about 1.5 inches from the bottom of the spring roll pastry sheets leaving approximately one inch either side. 8. Add a bit of Philadelphia cheese on top 9. Pull the spring roll sheet up from the bottom; fold the sides to the centre of section and continue to roll. 10. Add some egg to glue the end 11. Place the Boreks (fold side down) in a frying pan with oil 12. Fry on both sides until golden.
