Ultimate Portable Performance - The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 7-1/4" Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw is the ultimate portable saw for professional carpenter and remodeler. This saw has a 21-1/2" table width and weighs in at 28 lbs with a 5.0 Ah battery. Moving around buildings, even up and down residential stairways are easy because of the lightweight and size of Milwaukee's new saw. Besides being incredibly portable, the 2733-20 7-1/4" Miter Saw has great accuracy, and performance. In our testing, we were able to make 163 cuts with a 45-degree bevel on 3/4" by 3-1/2" oak on a single charge on a well used 5.0 Ah battery. The power of this saw became apparent when bevel cutting a 2x6 with the fine cut blade. The saw does not slow or bod and gives good speed. So do not let this saw fool you with its size. There is some significant power produces by Milwaukee's Powerstate Brushless motor. The saw is designed in a more traditional manner than the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 10" Miter Saw. The design has smooth movement with zero head deflection when cutting. 2733-20 Features 28 lbs with Battery Dual Bevel with stops at 45° 3-1/2” Vertical Capacity (base against fence) 2x8 Horizontal Capacity (lying flat at 90°) 3-5/8” Nested Crown Capacity Cam Locking Miter Detent System Shadow cut line indicator Integrated top and side carry handles Dual Bevel Milwaukee Tool was working to provide the user of this compact cordless miter saw the most efficiency of use. The 2733-20 has the full ability to bevel to both the right and left to 48 degrees but has adjustable stops at 45 degrees. The 45-degree stops are adjustable so one can dial in this saw to their liking. When mitering the user can cut up to 48 degrees in both directions. This could be considered a limitation to this smaller saw, but for most trim carpenters, this will not be a limiting factor. Just like Milwaukee's 10" M18 miters saw, the M18 7-1/4" miter saw uses a shadow cut line indicator from the LED light. This system is accurate no matter what width blade the user has on the saw and can also be seen a bit outside. While I know many of our users like to see a laser on a miter saw, we feel that the shadow line is much more accurate throughout the life of the saw. Portable Trim Saw Milwaukee's new miter saw will be incredibly popular with anyone who wants to travel with an accurate saw. The dust collection system works flawlessly with a decent vacuum attached and will make cleanup a breeze when used indoors. There are not enough good things we can say about this saw! It was well thought out, built well and performs excellently.
