Fixing the Long 900's Hydraulic Problem 8 17 22

Well back when I was planting soybeans the Long 900 developed a hydraulic problem in the field and I had to park it till I got time to figure out what was wrong with it and fix it. As it turns out the 3pt lever got stuck in the up position and was dead heading the hydraulic system and blow out the O ring on the hydraulic pump. I really thought I had screwed up the hydraulic pump and was not looking forward to replacing it, But it turned out to be a simple O ring that was all that needed to be replaced. With no real dealer support and built in Europe I know its a metric O ring. The only place I know of to get hydraulic stuff is Cook Hydraulics in Wilmington Ohio, They know their stuff so I made a trip to get what I needed. This turned out to be the cheapest tractor fix I have ever made, $ .45 for an O ring ! It was a pain in the butt to get the fitting off the pump and get it back on but it was one of the cheapest fixes I have ever made. A $ .45 O ring about $25 worth of hydraulic oil and my time to fix it. I've oiled up all the hydraulic linkage so this doesnt happen again . This took awhile to get fixed but its fixed now and ready to work again. I hope you enjoyed watching. Bandit
